Amin Haque Solicitors have an opening for a RTA Personal Injury Fee Earner / Solicitor / Litigation Executive to join our RTA Litigation Team.

We’re looking for a self-driven, professional and ambitious solicitor / fee earner who is able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative. The ideal candidate must possess great interpersonal skills with a key focus on delivering great customer service; every customer, every time. The ideal candidate must be able to work manage a case load of fast track personal injury and credit hire files.

The vacancy is available to experienced qualified solicitors / fee earners with a proven record of managing a case load fast track RTA files with credit hire. The ideal candidate must have experience in the relevant areas of law with at least 12 months unsupervised case management experience.

Key Tasks

· Handle a full caseload of RTA litigated matters and Pre-Litigated matter with the view of issuing.

· Have experience of handling Fast Track cases

· Comply with tight court deadlines

· Be able to work independently

· Need to demonstrate that they can cope well under pressure

· Be able to build strong relationships with clients

· Meet realistic Quarterly and Monthly targets

Essential Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required

· Experience with Fast-Track cases.

· Must have extensive Personal Injury/ litigation experience.

· Experience of meeting Court Direction Deadlines.

· Experience attending telephone CMC’s.

· Ideally have current experience of handling a large caseload of RTA matters

· Have previous experience of using a Case Management System

· Be able to work off a task list

· Have excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and to meet tight deadlines

· Undertake Court Telephone Hearings to ensure progress is maximised and all actions have been undertaken to bring the case to settlement.

· Dealing with correspondence and telephone calls

· Undertaking periodic reviews of files in line with Client requirements

· Updating reports

· Meeting agreed performance targets

· Have an understanding of case law Pre-action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules

· Have an understanding of credit hire case law.

· Proficient IT skills

The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week between the hours of 9:30am – 5:30pm. We are looking for a candidate that is able to start immediately or 6 weeks.
