Amin Haque Solicitors have an opening for a fee earner with litigation experience to join the Tenant Advice Service team.
We’re looking for a self-driven, professional and ambitious fee earnerwho is able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative. The ideal candidate must possess great interpersonal skills with a key focus on delivering great customer service; every customer, every time. The ideal candidate must be able to workto tight deadlines without supervision.
The vacancy is available to experienced qualified solicitors with a proven record of managing a case load of housing disrepair claims. The ideal candidate must have at least 12 months unsupervised case management experience. Full training will be provided.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload housing disrepaircases. Full training will be provided.
- Maintain client records and contact information, via our Case Management systems
- Dealing with clients and keeping clients updated from initial enquiry to completion of the matter.
- Instructexperts and counsel where necessary.
- Assist in the business development and growth of the department including but not limited to attending exhibitions, conferences,preparing tenders and attend business networking events.
- Attend CMCs, local possession hearings and trials.
- Maintain your own calendar and the firms CRM system.
The successful candidate must have:
- At least one year of unsupervised case management andlitigation experience.
- An efficient and reliable output of work
- Proven track record of handling caseload
- Have excellent communication skills
- The ability to maintain professional conduct at all times
- Time-management skills

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Basic salary starting at £23,000 - £27,000 (subject to experience) + Bonuses

This is a full-time, permanent position, 9:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday.
